I believe in government that serves the common good, and in policies that lift equity, inclusion, and dignity.
As your Councilperson, I commit to being open and transparent, hearing your ideas and critiques, and seeking innovative ways to make WSP better and for EVERY person who lives, works, and visits.
Every voice matters! As an organizer, I am trained to notice who is in the room and who is not. I am running for City Council to bring as many voices into our city government as possible. I will work tirelessly to ensure that, when important decisions are being made, they are made with the people who will be impacted.
If COVID-19 has shown us anything, it is how deeply flawed our current system is. They way things have always been done isn't working.
We need to imagine new ways to support our community including local businesses, schools, places of worship, parks and other institutions. As your Councilperson, I will bring bright eyes, fresh ears, and an open heart.
Our government belongs to all of us. You deserve to have easy access to whatever you want to know–how money is collected and spent, how decisions are made, and how you can impact change in your neighborhood.
As your Councilperson, I will work to improve openness, transparency, and accessibility.
